La Casa Nostra Restaurant

A family run Italian trattoria since 1996. Locals and out-of-towners refer to it as 'a little piece of Italy in Umdloti'. Red and White checked table cloths with brick and terracotta walls, create a setting that is warm and cosy inside and for those nature lovers there is a wonderful partially covered alfresco terrace set amongst the trees. The name La Casa Nostra means "Our Home" and it truly is a home away from home dinning experience.

"Real Italian Food" as our logo implies means you will get to enjoy traditional dishes like home-made gnocchi and lasagne which are old favourites not forgetting the exciting new dishes that keep popping up to tantalise the taste buds. Renowned for pizza, pasta, risotto and Italian grills, one must try our succulent lamb shank, veal dishes and grilled quail. For seafood lovers, juicy grilled prawns, calamari and mussels are also on offer amongst others. There are excellent, tasty vegetarian options too, so there is quite literally something for everyone, young and old, the whole family! The restaurant seating capacity for 50 inside and also 50 outside seating.

To top it all off try the home-made tiramisu made by our own Italian mamma. Round off with an espresso and a grappa or our home-made Limoncello.
